Let’s apply the same approach to America’s obesity epidemic (a problem that has, depressingly, forced us to redesign our revolving doors, wheelchairs, coffins, hospital operating tables to new and grotesque proportions). New York and many other progressive municipalities already require that chain restaurants post calories on their menus; calorie counts on receipts are a sensible extension.
